Configure Customer Scoring and Lifecycle Thresholds

Tune value, lifecycle, status, risk, and trust classifications to the store operating model.

Applies to 1.2.2+ Free Stable Verified August 3, 2026

Scoring thresholds convert normalized order history and optional signals into explainable customer classifications.

Open the feature

Go to Customers > Settings.

Before you start

  • Document the store definition of high value, loyal, dormant, at risk, and inactive.
  1. Review the default thresholds.
  2. Adjust one threshold group at a time.
  3. Save settings and run the recalculation tool.
  4. Inspect customers near each threshold before using classifications operationally.

What success looks like

  • Customer list filters and profile badges use the updated classifications.
  • Risk factors explain why a customer needs review.

Important notes

  • Thresholds support staff prioritization; they do not automatically block customers or modify orders.
