Configure SMS Services and Yo Credits

Phone verification and phone OTP login require an SMS service. Advanced Accounts Premium supports Yo Credits, Twilio, and Textmagic.

Choose the SMS Service

1. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Accounts & Membership → Advanced.
2. Scroll to SMS service.
3. Choose Yo Credits, Twilio, or Textmagic.
4. Save changes.

The same service can also be selected from WooCommerce → Settings → Integration → SMS Services.

Use Yo Credits

Yo Credits is the simplest option when you do not want to create your own Twilio or Textmagic account.

1. Choose Yo Credits as the SMS service.
2. In the Advanced section, click Generate a key beside Yo Credits key.
3. Save the settings.
4. Make sure your SMS quota is available before requiring phone verification.

Do not share the Yo Credits key publicly. Treat it as a private credential.

Use Twilio

1. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Integration → SMS Services.
2. Select Twilio.
3. Enter the Account SID.
4. Enter the Auth Token.
5. Enter the From phone number.
6. Save changes.
7. Use Send test SMS if the button appears.

Use a full international phone number format when sending a test SMS, for example +1234567890.

Use Textmagic

1. Select Textmagic.
2. Enter your Textmagic username.
3. Enter your API key.
4. Save changes.
5. Send a test SMS if the test button appears.

Recommended SMS Message

The SMS message must include {code}. A simple message is usually best:

{site_name}: Your verification code is {code}

Avoid long marketing text inside OTP messages. Short messages are easier to read and less likely to be split into multiple SMS segments.
