Configure Stock Manager Settings and Modules
Configure inventory behavior, reservations, receiving, alerts, optional modules, date/time, audit retention, and retained preorder/backorder behavior.

The Stock Manager shortcut opens the canonical WooCommerce settings section at WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Stock Manager.
Open the feature
Go to Stock Manager > Settings.
Recommended first configuration
- Review inventory and decimal-quantity behavior.
- Choose reservation and cancellation synchronization policy.
- Configure receiving and location defaults.
- Enable only the optional Alerts, Reordering, Purchasing, Fulfillment, Reports, Integrations, and Audit modules your team will use.
- Retest preorder/backorder button, date, shipping, payment, and customer delivery settings retained from the previous version.
Verify the result
- The Stock Manager workspace shows only enabled modules.
- Main warehouse and stock totals are present after migration.
- Existing preorder/backorder products keep their customer-facing behavior.
