Configure Customer Invoice Fields and Eligibility

Choose eligible orders, customer fields, labels, email links, and PDF options.

The request form can collect company/customer name, regional tax label and ID, location, address, recipient email, and a note.

Open the feature

Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Tax > Tax invoice.

Before you start

  • Map required fields to the store jurisdiction and privacy policy.
  1. Choose eligible order states and request visibility.
  2. Configure the customer tax ID label.
  3. Enable the request link in supported WooCommerce emails if needed.
  4. Choose tax rate column, tax summary, and footer behavior.
  5. Submit a test with missing and valid values.

What success looks like

  • Invalid requests fail without allocating an invoice.
  • Valid requests prefill known billing/customer data.

Important notes

  • Collect only data required for invoicing and define a retention policy.
