Notifications contains Email templates and Delivery logs. Templates cover booking, status, reschedule, reminder, and payment events and can attach calendar files where supported.

Open the feature
Go to Yo Booking > Notifications.
Before you start
- Configure a reliable WordPress mail or SMTP service.
- Prepare a safe test recipient and representative appointment.
Recommended workflow
- Open Email templates and edit the required event.
- Configure recipient, subject, heading, body, email type, and supported placeholders.
- Enable ICS where useful and set reminder offsets.
- Preview with appointment data and send a test email.
- Trigger the real event on staging.
- Open Delivery logs and retry a failed delivery only after correcting its cause.
What success looks like
- Placeholders render appointment-specific values and the correct recipient receives the event.
- Reminder jobs run through WordPress Cron and delivery status appears in the log.
Important notes
- Avoid exposing internal notes or secrets in customer templates.
- Email delivery still depends on the host or SMTP provider.

Notification design in 2.0.2
- Use Notifications > Settings for sender details, email colors, footer text, company logo/brand name, and the live HTML design preview.
- Notification delivery is controlled by individual templates and event settings; the redundant global notifications toggle was removed.
- Send a test and inspect both HTML and plain-text output before enabling a customer event.
