Configure Offline Payments, Deposits, and Refund Tracking
Enable Pay locally or Bank transfer, choose no-payment, deposit, or full collection, and maintain a payment/refund ledger.

The core payment layer supports Pay locally and Bank transfer. It stores immutable booking totals and tracks pending, authorized, partially paid, paid, failed, cancelled, partially refunded, and refunded states.
Open the feature
Go to Yo Booking > Settings > Payments.
Before you start
- Choose the store currency display and settlement policy.
- Prepare approved bank details and customer-facing instructions.
Recommended workflow
- Configure currency position, separators, and decimal precision.
- Enable the payment layer and choose no payment, deposit, or full collection.
- For deposits, choose fixed or percentage amount.
- Enable Pay locally and/or Bank transfer and select the default method.
- Enter bank transfer details and payment instructions.
- Create a test booking, record a manual payment, and test a refund entry.
What success looks like
- The booking review and confirmation show the correct amount and instructions.
- Appointment payment totals, balance, status, and ledger entries remain consistent.
Important notes
- Online gateways are distributed separately as add-ons.
- Payment ledger entries should be additive records, not silent edits to historical totals.

Payment display in 2.0.2
- Default currency and localized money separators/precision are configured under Payments and used consistently by admin forms, REST payloads, and payment snapshots.
- Deposit due and remaining balance appear only in Deposit mode; Full payment remains active without the deposit summary.
- Confirm each service quote before submission and the immutable appointment total after creation.
