The Availability screen combines Business hours, Staff schedules, and Exceptions. Staff schedules can override global hours, and exceptions can close or specially open a date for everyone or one staff member.
Open the feature
Go to Yo Booking > Availability.
Before you start
- Confirm the WordPress timezone under Settings > General.
- List regular hours, split shifts, holidays, leave, and special opening dates.
Recommended workflow
- Configure Business hours and add multiple working periods where needed.
- Open Staff schedules and select a staff member.
- Set working days, hours, and slot intervals.
- Add closed or special-hours Exceptions with the correct scope and timezone.
- Test dates inside regular hours, split periods, exceptions, and occupied appointments.
What success looks like
- Only valid service, staff, date, and time combinations are offered.
- Existing appointments and exceptions prevent conflicts on the server.
Important notes
- Lead time and booking window are configured separately under Yo Booking > Settings > General.
- Availability changes can affect existing customer expectations; communicate material schedule changes.
