Connect Return Requests With Advanced Order Actions

Connect WooCommerce return requests with Advanced Order Actions to support split, merge, and fulfillment workflows.

Applies to 1.4.1+ Stable Verified July 29, 2026

WooCommerce Advanced Order Manager can work with WooCommerce Advanced Order Actions to make partial return workflows cleaner.

What the Integration Does

When a return request is for specific items, and Advanced Order Actions is installed and licensed, approving the return can schedule an automatic split. The returned items can be moved into a separate order for easier tracking.

Requirements

  • WooCommerce Advanced Order Manager installed and licensed.
  • WooCommerce Advanced Order Actions installed and licensed.
  • Advanced Order Actions automation delay timer configured.
  • A return request containing specific returned items and quantities.
  1. Customer submits a return request for specific items.
  2. Store staff reviews the request in the order edit screen.
  3. Staff approves the request.
  4. Advanced Order Actions schedules and runs the split task.
  5. The returned items are separated for easier refund/exchange handling.

What to Test

Use a test order with multiple items. Submit a specific-item return request, approve it, wait for the automation delay, and confirm the split result in WooCommerce orders.
