The booking form only exposes bookable combinations. Configure the underlying service, staff, availability, and booking rules before publishing it to customers.
Open the feature
Go to Plugins > Add Plugin.
Before you start
- Choose staging pages for the booking form and signed-in customer portal.
- Back up the database before upgrading an existing Yo Booking installation.
Recommended workflow
- Install and activate Yo Booking 2.0.2.
- Open Yo Booking > Settings and review System status.
- Create categories, services, staff, and staff-to-service assignments.
- Configure Availability and General booking rules.
- Insert the Yo Booking block or [yo-booking] shortcode.
- Optionally publish [yo-booking-portal] for signed-in customers.
- Submit a guest or signed-in test booking and verify the admin record and email.
What success looks like
- The form offers valid services, staff, dates, times, and enabled payment methods.
- The test appointment appears in Dashboard and Appointments with the expected status and totals.
Important notes
- Yo Booking does not require WooCommerce.
- Reliable notification delivery depends on WordPress mail or an SMTP provider.
