Yo Booking integrates with WordPress personal data export and erasure tools, supports retention cleanup, provides password-encrypted same-site backup and restore, and registers Site Health checks.
Open the feature
Go to Yo Booking > Settings > Maintenance.
Before you start
- Create an independent database backup before cleanup or restore.
- Choose a strong backup password and store it separately.
- Define a documented data-retention policy.
Recommended workflow
- Review retention settings and run a bounded cleanup on staging.
- Use Tools > Export Personal Data or Erase Personal Data for verified customer requests.
- Create an encrypted Yo Booking backup and store the file and password securely.
- Test restore on staging and confirm the replacement warning before proceeding.
- Review Tools > Site Health for booking tables and scheduled tasks.
- Enable Remove all data on uninstall only when permanent deletion is intended.
What success looks like
- Cleanup removes only data outside the configured policy.
- A tested backup restores managed booking tables and settings successfully.
- Site Health reports required tables and scheduled jobs as available.
Important notes
- Restore replaces current Yo Booking data and requires explicit confirmation.
- Uninstall retains data by default; removing all data cannot be reversed without a backup.
