Create and Manage Customer Follow-up Tasks

Assign due-dated customer or order follow-ups to administrators and Shop Managers.

Applies to 1.2.2+ Free Stable Verified August 3, 2026

Tasks connect a customer, optional order, assignee, priority, due date, status, reminders, and timeline events.

Open the feature

Go to Customers > Tasks.

Before you start

  • Review which users may receive customer context by email.
  1. Create a task from Tasks, a profile, a bulk action, or an order.
  2. Set a clear title, priority, due date, assignee, and optional order.
  3. Complete or reopen the task as work changes.
  4. Use due-soon and overdue filters for daily review.

What success looks like

  • The assignee can open the customer and order context.
  • Completed and reopened actions remain in history.

Important notes

  • Task notifications depend on WordPress/WooCommerce email delivery.
