Manage Users, Blocking, and Verification Status
Manage WooCommerce users, blocking status, and verification status from the admin when reviewing customer accounts.
Advanced Accounts Premium can add user management controls to the WordPress Users screen. These controls are useful when support staff need to block a customer, unblock a customer, or manually correct verification status.
Enable User Blocking
- Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Accounts & Membership → Advanced.
- Enable Block and unblock account from users page.
- Save changes.
- Go to Users.

What Changes on the Users Screen
- A verification indicator can appear beside users who have verified email or phone status.
- User rows can show a blocked state.
- Each user row can show Block or Unblock.
- Bulk actions become available for block, unblock, verify email, unverify email, verify phone, and unverify phone.
- A filter can show blocked users or users with account erasure requested.

Block a User
- Go to Users.
- Hover over the user row.
- Click Block.
- Confirm the admin notice says the user has been blocked.
A blocked user cannot log in normally. Administrators cannot be blocked by this tool.
Unblock a User
- Go to Users.
- Find the blocked user.
- Click Unblock.
- Ask the customer to try logging in again.
Manually Verify Customers
Use bulk actions when you need to fix verification status for one or more customers.
- Select the users.
- Open the bulk actions dropdown.
- Choose Verify email, Unverify email, Verify phone, or Unverify phone.
- Click Apply.
This is useful after importing customers or after resolving a support case where the customer owns the email or phone number but could not complete the automated verification flow.
