Merge Orders Manually
Merge WooCommerce orders manually when separate orders should be combined for fulfillment, payment review, or customer service.
Manual merge combines one or more selected orders into a main order. The main order keeps the combined items, shipping, fees, and recalculated totals. The merged orders are moved to trash.
Configure Merge Rules
- Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Orders → General.
- Find Merge orders.
- Select the statuses that can be merged.
- Save changes.
Merge Orders
- Open the order that should become the main order.
- Click Merge order.
- Search for orders by order ID or customer name.
- Select the order or orders to merge into the main order.
- Confirm the merge.

How the Merge Works
The plugin looks for matching product, shipping, and fee lines. If a matching line exists, it combines quantities and totals. If not, it adds a new line to the main order.
Important Safety Notes
Manual merge is operational, not payment collection. If the merged orders used different payment methods, review the order notes and accounting before fulfillment.
Do not merge orders that are already shipped or refunded unless your team has a clear internal process.
If the same merge pattern happens often, use Configure Automatic Order Merging to automate the workflow.
