Regenerate PDFs and Resend Invoice Emails
Use order admin controls to repair a missing PDF or resend the existing invoice workflow.

Regenerate rebuilds the document from stored invoice/order data; resend delivers the dedicated WooCommerce email to the invoice recipient.
Open the feature
Go to WooCommerce > Orders > Edit order > Tax Invoice.
Before you start
- Confirm the recipient and stored invoice details before sending.
Recommended workflow
- Review invoice status and number.
- Regenerate the PDF when the file is missing or layout settings changed.
- Download and inspect the regenerated file.
- Resend the invoice email.
- Confirm delivery in the mail log.
What success looks like
- The regenerated PDF keeps the original number.
- The email is sent only after capability and nonce checks.
Important notes
- Correct invoice data before regeneration; do not use regeneration to conceal an issued-number history.
