Return a Split Order to the Original Order

If a split order was created by mistake or the workflow changes, you can return the split order items back to the original order.

When the Return Action Appears

The order must be a split order, must not be in trash, and must use a status allowed in the split settings. Your user must also have permission to manage the action.

Return One Split Order

1. Open the split order.
2. Find the Order actions dropdown.
3. Select Return to the original order.
4. Run the action.
5. Review the original order totals and notes.

Bulk Return Split Orders

You can also return multiple split orders from the orders list when the bulk return action is available.

What Happens Internally

The plugin finds the original order link stored on the split order, moves items back, recalculates shipping/totals when needed, and adds private order notes so staff can see what changed.
