Applies to 1.4.1+ Stable Verified July 29, 2026

Advanced Order Manager adds email notifications for cancellation and return workflows. These emails help customers know whether a request was received, approved, or rejected.

Email Types Added by the Plugin

  • Cancellation request email for store/admin review.
  • Cancellation approved email for customers.
  • Cancellation rejected email for customers.
  • Return request email for store/admin review.
  • Return approved email for customers.
  • Return rejected email for customers.

Check WooCommerce Email Settings

  1. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Emails.
  2. Find the Advanced Order Manager email templates.
  3. Confirm they are enabled if you want them to send.
  4. Check recipients for admin/store emails.
  5. Review subject, heading, and template content if needed.

Email Buttons

The Cancellation and Returns settings can add action buttons to customer emails. Use these only if you want customers to submit requests directly from the order email.

Test Before Launch

Submit one cancellation request and one return request from a test customer account. Then approve one and reject one so you can confirm all customer-facing emails.
