Set Up Level Discounts
Set up loyalty level discounts in WooCommerce so customers receive pricing benefits based on their membership or points level.
Level discounts apply automatic percentage discounts based on a customer’s loyalty level.
Enable Level Discounts
- Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Loyalty → General.
- Enable Level discounts.
- Set a discount percentage for each level.
- Save changes.
Discount Rules
Each level accepts a percentage from 0 to 100. Keep the base Customer level at 0% if regular customers should not receive an automatic discount.
Discount Options
Discount options control whether coupons and taxes are excluded from the order value used by level discount rules.
Recommended Setup
- Customer: 0%
- Silver: 3%
- Gold: 5%
- Platinum: 10%
Start conservative. A generous loyalty discount combined with coupons and point redemption can reduce margin quickly.
Test Discounts
- Assign a test user to a loyalty level.
- Add products to cart as that user.
- Confirm the level discount is applied.
- Test with a coupon if your store allows coupons at the same time.
