Set Up Loyalty Levels
Set up WooCommerce loyalty levels so customers can progress through tiers based on points, spending, or store activity.
Loyalty levels are based on WordPress user roles. Each selected role becomes a customer level.
Open Level Settings
- Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Loyalty → General.
- Find Loyalty levels.
Create or Remove Loyalty Roles
- Click Add new / Remove.
- Create the roles you want to use as loyalty levels.
- Return to the General section.
- Select those roles in Set loyalty levels.
- Save changes.
The plugin keeps Customer as the starting level with 0 points.

Set Level Rules
Level rules define how many total earned points are required for each level.
Example:
- Customer: 0 points
- Silver: 100 points
- Gold: 500 points
- Platinum: 1500 points
Customers move up when their Total earned points reach a threshold. Total earned points are different from available points. A customer can spend available points and still keep their lifetime earning progress.
Level Reset
Level reset can reset users back to the starting point on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly schedule. Leave it disabled unless your program is intentionally seasonal.
Best Practice
Use simple names and thresholds at launch. Complicated levels are harder for customers to understand and harder for store staff to support.
After defining levels, configure benefits with Set Up Level Discounts and milestone rewards with Configure Review and Level-Up Bonuses.
