Premium Protection Overview

Premium adds protection for cases where simple email and phone blocking is not enough. Use these rules when risky customers change their basic details but still leave other patterns behind.
Enable Device Identity
- Go to Blacklist Manager > Settings > General.
- Find Device identity.
- Enable device-based protection.
- Save settings.
- After new orders are placed, review device information in the Dashboard and order-related screens.
Enable Customer Name Blocking
- Go to Settings > General.
- Enable Customer name.
- Add suspicious first and last name combinations from the Dashboard or order actions.
- Test with a known test name before using this broadly.
Enable Address Blocking
- Go to Settings > General.
- Find Address.
- Enable Address blocking.
- Choose a matching mode. Start with standard matching unless you understand the effect of more advanced matching.
- Choose whether shipping address should also be included.
- Choose whether state or postcode/ZIP should be checked.
- Save settings.

Use Proxy, VPN, Hosting IP, and Country Checks Carefully
These rules can be useful, but they can also affect legitimate customers. Many real customers use mobile networks, privacy tools, corporate VPNs, or travel across regions.
- Go to Settings > Automation.
- Review IP-related rules such as Hosting IP, Proxy/VPN/TOR, IP vs Country/Region, and IP vs Address.
- Start with Email alert or Add to suspects.
- Move to Add to blocklist only after reviewing enough real matches.
Use Disposable Email and Phone Checks
- Go to Settings > Integrations.
- Configure services such as Usercheck, ZeroBounce, or NumCheckr if you use them.
- Save settings.
- Test with a known disposable email or test phone case.
Expected Result
Premium rules should help you detect repeat risk patterns that are not visible from email or phone alone, while still giving you control over whether to alert, suspect, score, or block.
