Set Up Preorder and Backorder Emails
Configure customer availability emails, admin reminders, and availability delay notices.
WooCommerce Stock Manager uses several email paths. Configure and test each one separately so staff know which event triggered the message.

Customer Availability Emails
When the scheduled availability action runs, matching preorder/backorder customers can receive an email that the delayed product is now available. The order also receives a note.
Admin Reminder Emails
Admin reminders are based on the available date and notification timer. Use them to notify staff before a product is expected to become available.
Availability Delay Notices
Delay notices are sent from Stock Manager > Inventory > Incoming stock when the current product available date is later than the checkout-time date stored on affected order items.

Available Placeholders
Use WooCommerce email previews and test orders to confirm subject, heading, product name, order number, and available date output.
Testing
- Place a test preorder order with an available date.
- Confirm the order item snapshot stores the checkout available date.
- Move the product available date later.
- Open Stock Campaigns and confirm the campaign shows delay notices due.
- Send the delay notice and confirm the order note and customer email.
