Start Here: How Advanced Order Actions Works

Advanced Order Actions 1.7.3 treats order changes as traceable operations. Staff can preview a mutation, apply it, follow relations and family history, monitor queues, and reconcile interrupted companion-plugin workflows.

Choose the right surface

• Order screen: split, duplicate, merge, return, preview, and inspect relationships.
• Orders > Action logs: audit operations and run guarded rollback.
• Orders > Automation queue: inspect pending, failed, skipped, retry, and shared companion jobs.
• Orders > Reconciliation: recover interrupted queue, rollback, and inventory journal workflows.
• Orders > Settings: configure actions, automation, notifications, and cleanup.

Safe operating sequence

1. Preview the action.
2. Review items, status, shipping, email, and inventory effects.
3. Apply the action once.
4. Confirm relation chips, timeline, notes, and audit log.
5. Use reconciliation instead of manually repeating a partially completed action.

Important notes

• Test tax, shipping, payment, bundle, vendor, and custom item metadata on staging before automation.
• Stock Manager integration requires compatible versions and negotiated capabilities.
