Troubleshooting: Split Results Look Wrong
Troubleshoot WooCommerce order split results that look wrong, including missing items, unexpected quantities, or incorrect child orders.
Unexpected split results usually come from product setup, selected split mode, shipping settings, or notification settings.
Check Product Data
If splitting by category, tag, attribute, stock status, vendor, or bundle, confirm the product has the expected data before placing the order.
Check Product Group Settings
If group splitting is selected, confirm the products are selected in Product group. Empty or outdated groups can make the split look incorrect.
Check Shipping Fee Behavior
If Excluded fee is enabled, split orders will not receive shipping charges. If disabled, the plugin copies or recalculates shipping depending on the split.
Check Status Settings
Original and split order status settings can make orders look like they skipped a workflow. Review Original order status and Split order status.
Check Bundles and Mix-and-Match Products
Bundle and Mix and Match products can have parent/child line items. Test these product types separately before enabling automation for them.
