Profiles combine commerce history with internal notes, flexible tags, static segments, tasks, and an activity timeline.
Open the feature
Go to Customers > Customers > Customer profile.
Before you start
- Agree on a short tag vocabulary and segment ownership.
Recommended workflow
- Review identity, addresses, orders, value, lifecycle, risk, and trust.
- Add an internal note with the decision or context staff need later.
- Assign existing tags instead of creating near-duplicates.
- Use static segments for deliberately maintained cohorts.
What success looks like
- Notes and assignment events appear in activity history.
- Tags and segments become available as list filters.
Important notes
- Static segments do not update automatically from rules.

Order-side customer history in 1.2.2
- The WooCommerce order Customer history metabox now shows identity, lifecycle/value badges, lifetime metrics, trust/risk scores, recent activity, and direct profile/task actions.
- Use the current risk factors displayed by the profile; 1.2.2 refreshes intelligence after supported integration events instead of relying on stale stored scores.
