Use Return Request Automation

Advanced Order Actions integrates with YoOhw return workflows so requested return items can be moved into their own order. This keeps the original order cleaner and makes returned items easier to review.

What the Integration Does

When a return request is approved, another YoOhw order management plugin can schedule Advanced Order Actions to split the requested return items. The new order contains only the approved return items and uses the configured return approval status when available.

Before You Use It

• Advanced Order Actions must be installed and licensed.
• The return/cancellation or advanced order manager plugin must be installed and configured.
• The original order must contain return request item data.
• Your split settings should allow the order status involved in the workflow.

Recommended Workflow

1. Customer requests a return for specific items or quantities.
2. Store staff reviews and approves the request.
3. The integration schedules the split task.
4. Advanced Order Actions creates a new order for the requested return items.
5. Staff handles the return/refund process from the separated order.

Why This Helps

Partial returns become easier to audit. Staff can see the original order and the separated return order instead of trying to manage everything inside one order record.
